Fuji Q Highland
(Lieske)
Yesterday we went to Fuji-Q highland and it was super awesome! :D this
amusement park has four thrill rides named the Dodonpa, Eejanaika, Fuijyama who
are one of the the fastest, scariest and/or highest thrill rides of the world
and are in the Guinness book of records.
Me and Ani tried those out, and
I must say that I was screaming my lungs out when I went to Eejanaika, I was so
scared and normally I’m not much of a screamer when it comes to thrill rides,
but I just needed a moment of rest when I went out Eejanaika hahaha XD!!
The Dodonpa it went so fast that I didn’t hear my own voice the first few seconds.
They were all super amazing and I’m super glad that I had experience those
attractions ^^. At the end we were so tired since we had to wake up
around 4 o’clock,
A very friendly boy
helped us out to find the only right bus, otherwise we couldn’t go to Fuji-Q
since we had so little time and Shinjuku station is so big, so I’m very
thankful for his help^^.
(Anicia) The attractions in Fuji Q Highland, God They are AMAZING!!
We had to get up really early around 03.30 AM.. Since our apartment is kinda far from Shinjuku station. Shinjuku is also HUGE! so it was hell to find the bus stop :/
When I check the time I saw that we only had 10 minutes left to actually catch the bus. I was so stressed and of course tired for the lack of sleep I had, sweating all over the place. Really was Starting to give up. A sweet boy who we first ask the way which He didn't knew at first, followed us to help! He noticed the sign and told us to follow him. I was so happy, relieved and really really thankful. I think I thanked him a dozen of times. We saw the bus already and we still had to pay for the bus ticket and so on. Wow we made it just in time * phew*
2 hours later we finally arrived in Mount Fuji. It was beautiful, The mountain WOW! So big yet so far away. I couldn't believe when we walked though the gate that It was busy already and I mean BUSY! I was kinda cranky since I didn't wanted to wait so long for the rides though. After standing which I believe a hour or two. The gates finally went open. The japanese THEY RUN like sonic. I was like Shit sherlock. Well let me run too. Don't want to stand so long in line.
After a while, The park officially went open. Again it was time to run. We had a map where the all the rides where. We decided to start of with 1 of the 4 roller coaster. The Takabisha. It was amazing!!! Waiting time was an hour but all the wait was worth it. What I did liked most of the ride was that they had a drop on top.
The second ride was the Doponda. It has the fastest acceleration in the world!! 172 KM per hour in 1,5 seconds! It was one of the best coasters I've ever been too! The most amazing moment was the blast off. You hear like 3,2,1, Ready for take off GO! You go so fast you can breath the first seconds, you can't even yell, or if you yelled there was no sound. That's how fast it was.
The third coaster was Eejanaika.. Hmmm Will think very clearly if I still want to go in if i ever go back. It was so scary! You had to take your shoes off at first. You also were checked , triple time if your seat belt and all were tight enough. Even though they checked it several times, I still had to ask if it really was tight hahaha!
When the coaster begins. Your feet will be up. When your almost on top, you slowly turn and again you will stand still for a few seconds making your more scared, You see actually how high you are from the ground.
wow, I had screamed so loud that my voice was hurting me for hours.
After the third coaster. I wanted to go for the last one The fujiyama but the waiting time was over three hours already. No. I really wasn't in the mood no more, waiting so long. So we went to the smaller attractions instead and visited the Evangelion Museum. It was really cool. Think I follow the series whenever I have time again XD.
Even though we had to get up early. Everything was worth it! Best day ever <3 <3 (^______^)

The last past days
(Anicia)
Sorry for not updating the last 5/6 days. We had a very busy week exploring multiple places. This journal will be very very long with MANY pictures what we've been through the past days.
Okay first up!!
Day 1: Shinjuku ( square enix store) / Ginza
I actually liked the places allot but well no money hahaha. Spend too much on goodies XD in ikebukuro. All the famous brands are located overthere. It's like the pc hoofdstraat though.
Oohh oohh before I forget! In shinjuku we also went to the final fantasy store. Man it was hidden!!! Difficult to find. After walking for an hour lieske found the store. Haaaapppyyy! It was small but really nice! ALLOT of final fantasy stuffies. Bought a beautiful wayfinder necklace from kingdom hearts birth by sleep. It was expensive but totally worth it. The cafe was really nice too. I ordered a cloud ice cream kinda cocktail and moogle cappucchino with caramel. It was so cute! The icecream was really tasty XD. Really will come back one day!
Kagurazaka
Loved that place as well. Big echo the karaoke bar was my favorite. I sang so loud that my throat was soar the next day hahaha. Rock songs aren't good for me XD XD.
Loved the well known restaurant as well. Forgot the name. I am sorry.. The food was good. It was more western related. Ordered a mozzarella toast with truffle sauce and another toast with egg on top. Ofcourse like we always do an ice cream afterwards hihihi.
Day 2: Shibuya Man ALLOT of teenagers! And J-rockers. We went to the famous shop shibuya 109. They had cute clothing, nice bags etc.
Ofcourse allot of food restaurants. Western restaurants like mc donalds, KFC and burgerking. MAN allot!! It's getting more popular... We also went to the hachiko statue. Famous dog. ( Crowded as hell).
After shibuya we went to harajuku ( Takeshita dori). Loved the shops sooo much overthere! Bought a wallet and some shirts for my collegue and brother.
They have larger sizes as well so clothing for everyone ^__^. They also have allot of crepes ice cream shops. Still have to try it!
After takeshita dori we walked a bit. Saw a nice park and used to famous cosplay bridge. The cosplayers aren't there anymore sadly but atleast I was there.
Day 3: Shibamata.
Next to Miyajima I really liked shibamata. I really like the many small shops, the traditional food. The place really had it's charm. We both did a bicyle tour with Kenji. He was so sweet and told us about the history of shibamata, the nature and park was beautiful to see. He also showed us the mystery waters. A big ship sunk mysteriously under water without any reason. The titanic of the shibamata waters he said. Which made me laugh a bit. After the tour we went to see the tempels. We had to wash our hands first. Then we walked to a dragon statue god doing his dance. I sadly cant read kanji so I didnt knew who he was and which god he was :/.
We went to a nice restaurant and ate delicious curry <3 <3.
Day 4: Asakusa.
Hmmm.. To be honest I didn't like Asakusa that much. Beautiful temples, different kind of ice cream flavors, Allot of traditional shops and restaurants that's it basically. A shit load of tourists everywhere. Greedy like fuck to get pictures at the temples. Some owners I really wanted to punch them in the face. They were sooooo rude . No! Not my cup of tea.
Walked a bit more, Made some pictures here and there, and left.
Day 5: Akihabara.
Akihabaraaaaaaaaa! Electric town Was fun!
Went to almost every shop they had. Think we spend 10 hours or more overthere. They had allot of anime and manga! Also hentai for men ALLOT!!!.
Bought allot of stuff from yes again shingeki!! The series are really really popular at the moment, so was in heaven in most of the stores :D. We also went to the maidcafe. Was really nice. Highlight was that when the maid did her dance. She made allot of eye contact towards us to do the dance together with her. I just clapped loudly together with another gentleman XD.
When the show was done. We also visit a danso cafe. Danso means girl dressed as boy. It was interesting! You do need to speak or understand japanese well or else the communication will be well... they wont speak to you at all. A waste for your money. The maid cafe their english isnt good either but atleast they tried.
Anyway, Akihabara is really the place to be when you love, anime, manga, figures and all that. Allot of good restaurants so you certainly won't get bored ^______^.
Hope you all still like our journal! Today is rest day. Tomorrow another busy day at mount fuji, fuji Q highland.
Square Enix store
Delicious Cappucchino!
Beautiful water Fountain.
The many figures in the store.
Famous Cosplay Bridge
Shibamata ( Traditional Town)
Kenji our guide! He was so sweet! Really a good heart.
Nature of Shibamata
Different Kind of ice creams
Asakusa goods
Temple XD
Man that car was sooo cool! Awesome!
Not the best picture but every other day we have to take the subway we have to walk on this bridge. Pretty blue big bridge XD
(Lieske) Sorry that we didn’t upload for a while, it’s hard
to post something everyday, especially if you have a late night ;)
Shinjuku/Ginza was not special if you don’t go there for
shopping, I saw allot of rich girls who had the latest trends clothing. If you
like expensive brands it’s the place for you. The only
thing that was great was the final fantasy store that I founded after a long
walk. This store was new and had a café in it. We both ordered a cappucchino, An moogle pancake and Cloud ice cream ^^. The stuff over there was great, but I saw
nothing there for me what I really wanted.
Shibuya was not very special either. We decided to play some
games in the arcade hall what we mostly did when we visited places in Japan
hahaha! The only thing that was special is that I finally saw the famous statue
of the dog Hachiko. I made a few pictures of it, I wanted to make more but it
was quite crowded sadly and we had no time. After that we went further to
Harajuku.
Harajuku was very nice, we saw a forest to walk through next
to the jingo bridge, but due of our schedule we didn't had time to actually walk trough the forests, so we went to Takeshita street instead where we saw allot of great stuff and clothing. Bought a cute Owl school bag, which is my favorite
animal btw ^^, Finally I won't have to wear my old boring school bag anymore, hahaha! I
also bought a cute Lolita skirt and a cute sleeping Pajama set there hihi XD
Akihabara was great, saw allot of awesome stuff there and we also went to the maid café which was allot of fun, the maids were nice to us and
they showed so much interest when they saw my Hange Zoe keychain. We talked about out favorite Shingeki character and such and made a Shingeki pose
after that hihi! They also were very interested when they saw my Body Line bag where
I bought my Lolita skirt in Harajuku. Even the Head-cook liked my skirt ^^. After our little talk, one of the maids
went on stage and did a little show where everyone has to follow her movements
which was very fun to do ^^.
Shibamata was beautiful and also a peaceful place to go, we
made a little tour trip with a very friendly guy who talked about places in
Shibamata, and he shown us a Japanese titanic on the river which they didn’t
knew how it sunk haha. The place was also well known for their love of a
Japanese actor called Kiyoshi Atsumi. We saw it everywhere and there was also a
bronze statue of him at the station. I bought some stuff for my family there
and ate delicious ramen soup ^^
Asakusa We searched so long for this place. We asked many people how to get there, since
someone lied about the name in their blog. The temples were beautiful and there
were allot of different market stands, We tried some odd ice cream flavour at
one stand, I took sweet red bean and it was delicious, but I almost didn’t wanted to eat It since the seller needed some manners. I thought Most
Japanese people had some manners, but I saw allot of people who sneezed without
their hands for their mouth in Japan so far yuck!!
It saddens me a bit since I read so much about the manners and stuff. Was prepared to follow the rules but it looks like it was not
needed.. At last we went to Kagurazaka to eat something there. I took pizza,
since I was not in the mood for Japanse food and they had only cold ramen soup
XD. The food was very nice and they had a cute worker there hihi!
Before we
went home we did some karaoke, which was allot of fun. It was not isolated very
well but we didn’t care and we screamed our lungs out XD.
