Dotonbori Day 4/5 + Karaoke

(Lieske) This sunday we will leave Osaka and going to Miyajima. I will really miss Osaka, The people are so friendly. The food was really delicious and you have many activities to do. You won't get bored.  Soon we will go back to tokyo. I heard from the locals in Osaka that the people In Tokyo are really unfriendly and selfish. But I guess We'll see. I want to experience this for my self. I am really excited for Miyajima. I really like nature and can't wait to eat the seafood and see the shrine in the water, Making wishes etc.

Yesterday we actually wanted to go clubbing but sadly we couldn't find the place which we went to see the local bar near the hotel. It was a nice experience. XD.

(Anicia). *Sobs*. This will be our last day in Osaka. Then were off to the country side Miyajima. Miyajima is very well known for the shrine on the water, The many wishing trees, the temples and sea food. I am not a big fan of seafood but for respect ofcourse I will eat it XD.

Yesterday we didnt do that much. We went to denden town again. Played some arcade games. Went to visit K-books, Animate and some shops again buying shingeki goodies whahaha! 

Afterwards we were kinda hungry and went to a ramen restaurant. Man it was really good. We both took the smallest bowl but still it was so much. If you ever will go to japan and will eat in a restaurant! BESURE to finish your plate! It's really disrespectfull not to do so. 

After we left. We went to our hotel again. We chilled and watched japanese TV. They have allot of musical commercials which made me laugh and allot of cooking shows. Around 21.30 PM. We left the hotel and went for a drink. The sake overthere is hella strong!  We had 2 bailey's and ice cream as well. The guys were cute! XD. When we left the bar we went to another karaoke bar. It was nice so well was the owner. We drank some more and around 03.00 AM we went to the hotel sleeping like a rose.

Day 5 ( last day) : Around mid day we went to see the last part of osaka. Bought a giant pack of pocky and japanese make-up. We also sat and watch some korean guys doing an sort of talent show. When the show was over, we ate local food named okonomiyaki. The okonomiyaki was really tasty. For last we bought osaka icecream crepes. You have different tastes of fruit but wanted to try the banana flavor mixed with whipped cream! It's sooo yummy ^^.

Now where in the hotel room, suitcase packed and well. Maybe we will go to the karaoke bar or else we will watch some japanese shows and chill the last hours!

Dotonbori Day 3

(Anicia) 

Another day in Dotonbori. Like always we did allot of stuff. First off we went to Umeda station for the pokemon center. I promised my lil bro to buy some stuffies there. 

The store was quite big and really nice. I expected to see allot of kiddies but saw adults as well. Chilllldhooood! Anyway it was nice. Umeda station has ALLOT of designers stuff as well. So if you like really expensive bags. Umeda is the place for you. ( except the pokemon center) It's relatively cheap XD. Prices are between 1100 yen till 7000 yen depends what you want buy.

I kinda forgot the subway system as well buying tickets -sigh-. But luckily a really nice Korean girl helped us. She was so sweet! ^___^. 

After umeda. We rest a little before heading to a really famous restaurant. It was hell finding that place as well. But again a very nice gentlemen helped us the right way. He walked us all the way to the restaurant and wished us a nice stay in japan. 

The Yakiniku restaurant was ONE WORD AMAZING! The food was so delicious! I had eat at so many restaurants but this by far the BEST restaurant. I'd ever went too. Also the waitress was really kind explaining the different types of meat they were serving etc.  Also you had allot of privacy. If you ever will visit dotonbori. I really recommend Yokocho. You do need to reserve before hand since it's full everyday! 

Definitely give this restaurant a 5 star. 

(Lieske) So last Thursday we first went to the pokemon center in the morning. It was the first time for me that I went with the subway. At the beginning it was hard to understand the ticket machine since nothing was in english. The first time a very friendly woman helped us out. The pokemon center is not that special, but if you are a big pokemon fan I think you would like those stuff they sell there. 

Afternoon we made time to find the beef restaurant, and we were glad we did that since it was so hard to find. At the end another friendly man walked with us to the right restaurant which made us very happy ^^. At 18.00 PM we were there and it was amazing, the food was delicious, the best beef or maybe even the best meat I ever had ^^ and it was a private space we got, which was awesome :D.

For Last we decided to walk around some places and we decided to do another karaoke for one hour since the last time it was allot of fun ^^ 

My experience with the people so far in osaka is that they are quiet open in general when you ask something to them. Some were quiet helpful which made me glad, since we really needed it in some situations.
